My name is Dr. R.C. Lamichhane, and I am a certified trainer of Appreciative Inquiry for Igniting Positive Business and Societal Transformation from Case Western Reserve University, USA (2007). Since then, I have had the privilege of conducting Appreciative Inquiry training for various organizations to strengthen human resource capacity and foster positive change.
In 2012, I established the Eastern Research Institute of Positive Science (ERIPS), which has been actively organizing Appreciative Inquiry training programs in collaboration with diverse organizations. In today’s challenging times, marked by growing negativity and frustration, the relevance of Appreciative Inquiry in fostering positivity, harmony, and resilience is more critical than ever.
Over the years, I have had the honor of facilitating Appreciative Inquiry training in Nepal, China, and other countries, applying this transformative approach in different contexts. During my tenure as the Executive Director of ACORAB, Nepal’s largest communication network, I integrated Appreciative Inquiry into organizational development and communication. Initiatives such as “Buhari Journalism” and “Community Communication as Positive Communication” were developed to promote innovative and constructive approaches in media. Positive communication also proved instrumental in empowering communities during challenging periods, such as earthquakes and floods, enhancing resilience and unity.
As the Founder and Vice Chairperson of the City Planning Commission of Pokhara Metropolitan City, I applied Appreciative Inquiry to develop the city’s three-year strategic plan. Similarly, I have utilized this approach in creating periodic plans for local governments, including Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Bheemdutta Municipality, Belaka Municipality, Vimad Municipality, and Rupa Rural Municipality. Training programs conducted by ERIPS, such as Appreciative Leadership and Transformative Planning, have been widely appreciated by participants for their effectiveness in fostering leadership and planning skills.
To contribute further to creating a positive social environment and developing transformative leadership, ERIPS is pleased to announce its upcoming training on Appreciative Inquiry for Positive Communication and Transformative Leadership Development.
We cordially invite you to participate in this transformative training program. Your presence and insights will not only enrich the program but also help us collectively work toward a brighter and more harmonious future.
Thank you for considering this opportunity. Should you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to reach out.
Warm regards,
Dr. R.C. Lamichhane
